Have you contacted "Just Trains" Support on their website, they are excellent at sorting out any problems?

EDIT: Just a thought, you are ensuring that you are typing in your password in the correct (ie Upper or Lower case) as you do to access your JT account.

You really need to take this up with Just Trains support (which is excellent), rather than raising it here.

Do you have TS2012 installed in the generic folder within Steam? If not, you'll possibly need to download from the support section of Just Trains a registry checker, which will then check that you have TS2012 installed. Run that, then try running the installer for the Bulleid Pack. This should also apply if you have TS2012 installed outside of Steam...

If you don't get any joy, try ringing or emailing Just Trains :).

Hope that this is of help to you.

Very Best Wishes,
Bob.

After some more driving of the locomotive today, falling in love with it.

I very rarely do requests, but after Taw Valley's name is repaired in the patch that is being made. Would anyone be willing to do a repaint for it in Maroon to act as Hogwarts express (which it was painted as)

Or give a guide so i can have a crack at it.

I've had a quick drive myself this evening, and I have to says its a real pleasure to look at and to drive. The disc and light scripting is a very nice touch - live in game. :D Loco and the coaches for £12 is pretty good in my book too (though I have bought most of the coaches before!)

Well done DT :D

You got a pic of said maroon creation?

Hm, looks quite nice in maroon, but hmmmm that first album shows it with the nameplates of Hogworts Express in 2000, looks like it was up there for a option for the movies, instead they picked a GWR locomotive instead. :-?

Good to hear DTs got a patch in the work to fix a few of the issues, good support as usual from both JT and DT it seems.

It was supposed to be used in the movies. But was decided i think by J K Rowling or someone else it was to modern.

Although it was used on the cover of the first book though. Which could have been the reason for it being painted Maroon.

After some playing, not a bad job at all this - textures are too glossy for my taste but that's only a tweak away. The physics need a bit of taming though, driving around in almost full forward gear at nearly 40mph without losing any boiler pressure is a bit much.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

DT Rebuilt Westcountry

Post by bdy26 »

It was rather sprightly on the hill out of Bath. I couldn't get it to slip either, which they were always a bit prone to, but that's as much a core issue.

Looks good in maroon. I think it was the director who rejected it, obviously a Southern man at heart wanting to upset the GWR set by painting a Hall red and calling it a castle ;-)

The cyl diameter in the blueprint is 10", that might have something to do with the ( lack of! ) steam consumption - wikipedia is telling me it's a bit over 16" really. Not sure the maxpower figure in the blueprint isn't in HP again instead of kW, but I don't even know if that does anything for steam engines ( it doesn't do anything for electrics ).

I rather like that crisp chuff sample. No idea if it sounds like a real one, but it's a nice sound anyway!

Edit: yes, setting cyl diameter in the simulation blueprint to 16.375 gives it rather saner steam usage. And I think I fixed the bogie rotation issue, the front bogie blueprint had a horizontal offset when I think it should be 0.

I agree the physics seems a little off. It's certainly seems more sprightly than it ought to be against my other RW steamers.

Well I've just bought it for £8.25!! :D So I'm pleased! I'll try and post some thoughts on it later. I'm of course interested in the sounds!

How are people getting on with the scenarios. Two out of 3 have ended with AI collisions. Only the one from Bath worked for me.

Thought I would ask before doing a support request to JT
