Another announcement from rs.com via facebook

Another exciting announcement coming today! As I posted on facebook I hope that it is a fix of the wcml and the optimisation of both donner and nec.

I do love this sim, and the overall quality of it, but I'm finding myself feeling very frustrated at purchasing routes which do not work very well.

wcml looks amazing and runs so very well, but those buffers are enough to drive me to drink not being able to complete scenario's.

Sorry for the whinge, but i'd rather they focus on fixing what appears to be well reported and often reflected problems within the existing dlc.

Derek pretty much confirmed on here last week that it was a week away, it may have been Thursday or Friday, not sure which.

All we need now is some optimisation on nec and the donner and those buffers removed from the wcml and I think most people will be happy chappies!

It remains to be seen if the graphics measures improve optimisation but it reads like a very cautious party political manifesto, not that much substance unfortunately. Where are improvements to the AI, the Save/Load function of scripted motive power, the random derailments when resuming, the selection tool for lofts being slightly offset in the editor, track disappearing after placement etc., etc?

Anyhow guess I'll just be grateful if it doesn't bork up projects I'm working on and all the other pre-existing stuff.
