Its a bit sad it has so much extra trackwork, but you go down them and after leaving the Mainline you suddenly find yourself in a wasteland... with the occasional piece of bridge (literally a piece) and a lonely station

Maybe someone should suggest getting the PDL line branchlines decorated...

I am not sure you have left the mainline, that sounds like Portsmouth to me.MallardFan wrote:Its a bit sad it has so much extra trackwork, but you go down them and after leaving the Mainline you suddenly find yourself in a wasteland...

On the off-chance that this is indeed a fishing expedition by RSC I'm gonna suggest Birkenhead. West Kirby, New Brighton and the St James loop to Chester and Helsby for the passenger side with the dockside lines of both the Mersey Docks and Harbour company and the Manchester Ship Canal for freight. Set in the late seventies.

That would be a very interesting, and unique area to see modelled1S811985 wrote:On the off-chance that this is indeed a fishing expedition by RSC I'm gonna suggest Birkenhead. They'd need to sort out the game saves, then! I wouldn't want to do the entire Sydney to Perth run without a break!! The run over the Nullarbor Plain could be the first train sim with cruise control.......NeutronIC wrote:How about the Indian Pacific in Australia?
Matt.
There are some lovely stretches, though. The first section out of Sydney up into the Blue Mountains would pass through some gorgeous scenery. Having done the I-P, the next time we visit Oz (if ever), the Boss wants us to go on the Ghan.

I'd love the Highland Mainline (Perth - Inverness) or the Inverness - Aberdeen line.
Great scenery there. I would have also said the Kyle Line or the West Highland Line, but they are currently in production

I think we could do with a flagship 70/80's route.
The value of your investments may go up as well as down.

390 has cruise control as well, providing we are talking about the same type of cruise control.salopiangrowler wrote:hate to break the news to you but the Acela Express has fully working Cruise control on the NECRockdoc2174 wrote: They'd need to sort out the game saves, then! Knew JTs 67 had slow speed control but not Cruise control.
I've found that the updated 390's cruise control seems to work correctly now gladly.

Re: A New Route coming from RSC?
What an absolutely sneaky thing for RSC to do, I never looked at it like that Matt, you might be on to something there, young Sir....NeutronIC wrote:I have another theory.
I bet they post "guess which route we are working on next" type messages to encourage lots of guesswork, then they look to see what people say and pick and choose from the ideas
Matt.
If this was posted on the FB page, I doubt if they'd consider anything on this forum then if nobody comes and reads what we type, does anybody have an account and could chuck some of our suggestions across onto their facebook page, anyone, they'll notice them then.
