South Devon Banks - Question

Post by stevefran »

Morning all,
I downloaded SDB last night, on trying to run activities they all come up with "Fail to load messages", just wondered if this was "normal"?
I did make a simple scenario which ran fine.
Should I use RW Tools to sort out the failed to load items??

Any advice appreciated

Certainly check for missing stock for the scenarios. There is a lot of GWR specific stock used which you may not have.

Route is really worth having.

Thanks for that , yes it is one that I have wanted for ages but never had time to sort out the downloads.
The quick scenario i made last night has certainly ensured that I will try and sort this out, the route is great for a die hard GWR man who lived in Devon for 5 years!!

Please have a look at this post, where I've tried to collect download links for all rolling stock not explicitly mentioned in the download page for the route itself!

http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 4&t=119574

Hope it helps!

It's a great route, but a bear to get the included activities running, due to all those dependencies.

Kind Regards,

Hi Tim,

Thanks very much for this information.
As you say its a really great route but a bit messy to sort out!
So far I have created one scenario myself (no A1 traffic!) and run the Taunton to Exeter scenario, I had to do a fair bit of swapping in RW tools (could not find the chocolate and cream Mk1 ccoaches, I have since found them on IHH free download!
So with a bit of luck all should run ok, with a bit of help from RW tools!
Thanks again for your help, and good simming

Hi Steve,

When I posted the first post in that thread I didn't yet have all dependencies but if you read the replies I believe that eventually everything can be found from that thread, or from threads I linked to.

Enjoy the route! :-)
