How do i add EAX effects to Woodhead objects ?

Post by tofwings »

Hello all.

Ive been trying to find out how to add the reverb effect to bridges ,tunnels etc to the woodhead route.
Can this be done ? ....as in WCML and a few of the default routes ...

Ive tried changing track rule ( on a clone copy of course ) but i cant seem to figure out what needs to be done ,

Any help would be appreciated, ....I have been trawling these forums, and YT, but cant find a definitive answer,
I found a sticky on Route building by Keithmross, but am still non the wiser.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, ( i have a feeling it should go in the sound threads ) but it may get overlooked there.

Thanks
Brian

Update..
Have just figured out that you have to use the select tool for the track ( im a dummy )...and change the properties in the fly out box ( track rumble im assuming )
However, the only options available are for the WH track....Ive checked the Ox Padd and WCML routes track properties, and they have something like BR Under wide Bridge or , tight bridge etc etc ...

So the question is , How do i get these options available when in the woodhead route track properties, ......

Again , im assuming it has something to do with the Track rule, ( i could be wrong , )
Do i have to change the track rule on the left bottom panel ?
Do i have to scroll through the track properties and get to track sound ( green ) before i can choose ?
By the way , i have tried all the above, and still struggling .

If any kind soul could shed some light on this i would be very grateful, .....and maybe my headache will go away..

Thanks

2nd Update

Looks like i answered my own question.
It appears that you can only have one track rule per route, I finally figured out how to add the effects to a certain point in the track,
However, the woodhead track rule does not include any of the desired track/bridge sounds that are available in the WCML and a few of the default routes.
Im still researching if its possible to add a track rule ( ox - padd or wcml ) to the blueprint file, but i fear that i cant.......
I am obviously willing to be proven wrong, should anyone see this and respond.....
I might have a look at changing the complete woodhead track for wcml track ( i think i saw a tutorial for that recently )....I obviously have way too much time on my hands
