I'm on 12.1 and have not really seem an improvement.

Must admit getting fed up with my HD5850 and have ordered a GTX560Ti so going back to Nvidia after a number of years.

I was just going to install 12.1, what problems are you having with the HD5850. I only get problems with Railworks, like blurring of track and points in distance when I tried TSX mode, fps is not bad. I use legacy the most as it is very clearwith good fps

Hi, are you using the 12.2 preview or 12.1 whql?

Also what card do you have?

Using HD6870 myself so interested to see if yours is a six series.

Thanks.

Haven't done so yet for my Graphics cards. As im still running on 11.11 as the recent ones have had a bad effect on Skyrim etc.

But sadly for my cards less and less support for them as they are 4years old soon.

Although i will try the new Drivers though later today.

Anthony I get flickering textures and bad screen tearing so use D3D overrider, fps are not bad but have a feeling the Nvidia car will be better for me(i hope).

D3D Overrider locks Vsync that the ATI Control panel should do but does not work for me in RW.

Just tried 12.2 preview using a HD6870 and i find i get slightly less performance than Catalyst 11.11 on my system.

Image quality seems a tad better with 11.11 too.

Back to 11.11 for me

12.1 is slightly worse for me, being subjective - I have a highly clocked 4890.
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

Small improvement.. Last time I broke 3600 was on 11.9. Difference is so minuscule it's practically the same though.

Which test were you referring to '3600'? 3D Mark Vantage?
