Would you buy a program that easily places lights on loco's? (Cost .50p to £1)
This bit of software would place the spot lights and possibly point lights on to existing railworks locomotive. It would be really simple to use, maybe looking alittle like this:

Just quick suggestion. Wouldn't it be better if you could enter the X, Y, Z axis for the light? Or maybe an option to do so. Just an idea. :)

Cheers,
Mike

Great idea. I love simple utilities like this, press a button and job done, doesn't require the user to have to faff around manually with files only to have Steam break it again when you verify cache or get an update

Why not also do a utility like that for the cabviews? You could shift the x, y or z axis to suit your preference. Higher, lower or closer to/further from the windscreen. I do it all the time but it's a major (edited by moderator) having to do it manually all the time. Would be great for a little drop down menu box like that shown.

That's a very good idea, especially if you could see the results of the changes without having to fire up TS2012 and run a scenario with the loco you're editing.

Good idea, I assume 'Train Length' should read 'Loco Length' (Might confuse some users).

Yes I would (Esp at that sort of price) but I also think the idea to alter the cab view position would be more useful.

Not only would it fix the ones that are screwed up, i could also edit the ones so i can actually see something in the cab view of many of the kettles.

Totally agree with this, it's long overdue IMHO.

Andy Possition is a special spelling, questioning the postion, its an amalgam of possible and position especially for when you dont know where to put something :D sorry I'll get my coat and hat.

Cabview edit, yes please! I would certainly use all the features so far discussed. Very well done to the author. :)

And how do you use the blueprint editor to edit existing locomotives? The blueprint editor will only edit Source files of items you have the Source for?
