Re: JT Class 153 Advanced
I have Railworks installed on the E: drive and for some reason the advanced version won't install saying it can't find any Railworks installations whereas the original version installed fine. Is anyone else experiencing this and can anyone offer any help?
Re: JT Class 153 Advanced
I don't know whether it would work, but you might try applying the registry fix from the JT Voyager support page -

Running that little utility as Administrator always works for me.

Re: JT Class 153 Advanced
I downloaded the registry fix and it corrected the locations of the Railworks.exe file but still the class 153 won't install. Unfortunately it's the weekend so I won't hear anything from JT support until Monday.
Re: JT Class 153 Advanced
After a couple of weeks trading emails with Phil from JT, he suggested that I change my slider on Object Texture from "high" to "highest", and having removed all the AP files, it seems to have worked. Cheers to the guys at JT for sticking with it!Squatch wrote:Still no joy - renamed the 153 folder to "oldclass153" and reinstalled the updated package, went into the game and still have compressed textures on the windscreen. Will write to JT support and see what they suggest

Re: JT Class 153 Advanced
Just noticed this is on sale for a limited time at £7.99 / €9.95 / $11.99 on the JT website
Is it a good buy at this price or should I just be happy with my 156 and 158 I already have?

Re: JT Class 153 Advanced
The 153 is a very nice model worth the money.
Re: JT Class 153 Advanced
Just signed up to Just Trains because of this, I can't really complain about other people impulse buying though with being signed up to AP, Meshtools and now Just Trains is well. The 153 is worth it to complete my collection of Sprinters. I now have every one barring the prototypes. the 153 does technically count as two as put two together and change the number to 155 you get a second free! (If you ignore the whole both units have a lavatory and extra cab bit)
BTW how does the Just Trains points sytem work?
