I'm assuming you're not running on highest possible graphic settings. That effects is a result of the image compression that happens when running at lower graphic settings.

Can someone please tell me how to 'redownload' the 153? I purchased it when it was the basic version...

Thanks.

You need to login to your account on JT's website, that'll bring up the main account part and then goto Purchase history and it will have a list of your purchases with download link at the far right column corresponding with the name of the addon.

Must say it is very nice, and the sound is great, loving the passenger view with the ability to drive it in this mode. Just one slight niggle, the bogie run sounds are far too quiet they need to be louder imo. Thanks to JT for a great upgrade. Is there a way of adding AP's bogie run sounds?

Just checked, and while I'm running with AA off (and FXAA on), my in game settings are all "High" or "Highest" except water quality and shadow detail which is medium. Out of interest, why do some products use compressed images for things such as the windows when other don't?

just swap the .nmc to .nm texture files in the texture folder of the 153 directory. Can't tell you which to swap though, as I don't have it. Probably someone will point you in the right direction

I've just checked the 150 and that glass is clear. I'll have a look through the comparable folders and see what's different in the cabview/textures folder in the 153....

Hmm - the textures folder has been updated with today's date, but none of the files inside the folder have been changed. Anyway, too many files in there that I don't understand, might have a search about and see if there's any other threads on this sort of thing.

When I install AP 153 sound pack, I get distortion on the cab windows... If I don't use the sound pack.. the model works well... i would much prefer to use AP sound pack!

That's interesting, I too have the AP 153 sound pack installed. Might un-install the whole lot and just re-add the "new" 153 package and see what happens....

Yeah, the AP pack uses the old blueprints. You'll have to wait to see if AP bring out an update for the pack.

Still no joy - renamed the 153 folder to "oldclass153" and reinstalled the updated package, went into the game and still have compressed textures on the windscreen. Will write to JT support and see what they suggest

Can I be the first person to say a big thank you to Simon and everyone at Just Trains for the work they have put in on this release.

The whole team has really gone the 'extra mile' once again.

I can't believe the upgrade was free!

Railworks really wouldn't be the same without JT. Cheers Guys.

I took 153332 and 153324 for a spin from Carlisle to Kirkby Stephen on the fabulous Settle and Carlisle route earlier with showers of rain...all I can say is wow. How excellent! I love having to cancel the DSD and I like the better braking. Coupled with the rain effects of course. :D

Thank you to everyone involved with the project.

Cheers
