You must save the game at the first station because 3 min after it you will 100% face with AI crash. After reloading the saved file no crashes.ihavenonamenoreallyidont wrote:Sorry, I did try to test it for you but I can't get closer to Darlington because of the scenario crash.

Either that, or you could just delete the AI service that causes the crash, as I've done.

Re: [MK2E] Deltic Swansong scenario ERROR
Ok when I play the scenario, I get to Durham and there's a HST which is stopped at the opposite platform, but part of it is still on the mainline, it appears to move off as I pull away, I later pass a class 47 hauled service, then when I get approx 7 - 6 miles from Darlington I get the AI collision message, so which service is causing this?

All valid points but I really shouldn't have to perform that kind of tinkering in a commercial product.
davejc64, seems that's the same crash as mine.

The mentioned HST (which gets rear-ended by the Class 47-hauled service). Set the HST to start 5 minutes earlier, and that should prevent it.davejc64 wrote:Ok when I play the scenario, I get to Durham and there's a HST which is stopped at the opposite platform, but part of it is still on the mainline, it appears to move off as I pull away, I later pass a class 47 hauled service, then when I get approx 7 - 6 miles from Darlington I get the AI collision message, so which service is causing this?

That sounds plausible, I might just try that, if it works then it may be a good idea to upload it as a fix if that would be allowed?USRailFan wrote:The mentioned HST (which gets rear-ended by the Class 47-hauled service). Set the HST to start 5 minutes earlier, and that should prevent it.

Any idea which 43 service it is (and/or which 47 service?).davejc64 wrote:That sounds plausible, I might just try that, if it works then it may be a good idea to upload it as a fix if that would be allowed?
The '6G52' mentioned earlier in the thread is actually a double-headed 37...

All I know is when I arrive at Durham there is a HST(class 43) on the opposite platform and shortly after leaving I pass a class 47 hauled service, sorry I can't be more help.RichyV wrote:Any idea which 43 service it is (and/or which 47 service?).

Re: [MK2E] Deltic Swansong scenario ERROR
Strangely enough, it was 4S62 that rear-ended a 1E12 that was standing in mainline, probably waiting for time to set-off. The HST in durham, 1N7x, indeed starts around or little after the player service has left Durham. I'm not sure if the 6G52 will move at all, but it's just a stationary consist standing on Stockton branch in Ferry Hill, as there's no signals to allow it's movement?
Anyways, the 1E12 has either a way too late start time compared to players expected working and that's why, most of us pass it while it's still stationary (engine sound). But how to re-time a scenario that's locked?
Also, has anyone noticed how LOUD is the Deltics vipers sound, and one can hear is easily even on outside camera...hum
EDIT: Ugh, apparently it CAN be done via RW Tools, i was just didn't realize to click the expected lead engine of AI train...

Re: [MK2E] Deltic Swansong scenario ERROR
Got reply from Richard (AP) and... he does not see any reasonable connection with this sound pack and game freeze at this scenario. He is sure scenario itself is full of errors and he is not far from the truth as I see
