OK guys, let's please avoid going down the freeware vs payware arguments path again.

As a general observation, more grief has been caused due to this particular thorny issue than most others, and as a result, our beloved hobby (it IS a hobby, ins't it chaps?) has suffered immeasurably over the years. Opinions have polarised, uploads have been withdrawn, and some arguments that should never have happened have never been resolved. There is room for both freeware and payware, and both have their merits and devotees.

Please - think before you post?

Hi Darren. A big double thank you, to you from me.
After the disappointment of the Railworks 2012 upgrade, back in September, and me wasting good money on a horseshoe pass that is unplayable on my aging PC I started trying your "all free stock" Scenarios
[28010]
[28007]
[28006]
[28024]
They play well, are not too long, don't cost anything and can be completed fairly easily. In fact each one was enjoyable to play. Thank you number 1.

Then I found your "Interim Measures" scenario. This needed the "Phorum Peninsula" a route that I had earlier brought only because the Blackpool Tramway add on [UKTS 26957] needed it. I had never really looked at it, just went straight into tram driving and Phorum Peninsula lay forgotten. What a mistake that was, it's a little gem. Thank you number 2.

The view from the cab, of the Class 37, as you drive onto the peninsula is so natural and lifelike and with points of interest added along the way. I ran it twice, first with cab view and head-out left and then again looking right.
Now I'm busy trying out all the other scenarios I have found for my newly discovered railway.I may be gone some time. CU Eric
