Lavender Line on Low settings

Lavender Line on Low settings
I've just been trying out Acorn's Lavender Line trying to get framerates at 20-30 fps but noticed that on low settings, the cows and workman in one of the scenarios have disappeared. Any reason for this?

Are you sure that the detail slider is set to 10? If not then not everything will show up.

Hi
This is probably because if you have used one of the default lower settings, some of these also reduce the scenery slider level to below 10. All assets created for TS2012 have a 'visability level' so a model with a value of 10 will not be visible in the game if the scenery slider is set below this. You can keep the settings set in the gameplay options on low but just move the scenery slider to 10 and all assets will be visible again.
This option goes back to the days of Rail Simulator where it helped a lot to reduce the work the graphics card had to do to render models but you do get big gaps in the scenery. With better computers now, it should not really be necessary to make scenery invisible to get good performance so playing with other settings is likely to help more than setting the scenery visability level down.
