Re: Wow
Totally agree, it's superb in the dark
The lighting in WCML is Keiths, and I'm guessing there's no plans for an AP pack for the route, as there's no need for one.
The lighting enhancement pack is less than a pint, and whilst it's "just" changing some settings in certain files, the amount of fiddling and testing required to do it so well makes it a bargain in my book. It also makes driving in the dark quite something else.

Re: Wow
Bear in mind you don't need the lighting enhancement pack for the WCML. Provided you use the weather patterns provided (prefixed by WN) and not the default ones, all of the time of day settings are correct.
On other routes though, yes.

I think we've all seen it, Keith Ross uploaded an impressive freeware lighting upgrade for the Oxford - Paddington route to UKTS a few weeks ago

Re: Wow
Just in case anyone is wondering how much of a difference the AP lighting packs make, here's a "Before" and "After" style shot before and after installing BOTH* AP lighting enhancement packs using the default Oxford-Paddington.
