I think that's pretty unlikely, and unnecessary since there's a step-by-step on the first page of this thread

Not for changing the color of the ballast and making that match and changing the ties to wood from concrete. It's all beyond me of course, certainly as a step by step tutorial. But it sure is impressive and looks so very nice.

It was definitely a lot of work and my WIP is now a Work That's Completed. But it was ohhhh so worth the work.

Movie is slightly stuttery in a few places. This is from recording at 1080p and using SSAA while playing at the same time. Gameplay smooth normally. Watch it on Youtube in 1080p fullscreen. This is why I spend a lot of money on high end hardware.. The payoff is oooh so worth it.. Even if I have to starve sometimes. :robot:

That looks fantastic. Any chance of an upload so that we can all have that fantastic set of rail textures in our new WCML-N routes?

That is very impressive, as I said. Thanks for the video. I'm not going to be able to do your blending magic, or switch to the wood ties, I don't believe. But when I get WCML-N, I think I'll have a go at your step by step tutorial for at least putting in the camber track. Some of Manuel's newest videos have that, and it makes a big difference, even without the blending and the concrete ties.

I don't think the author of the track will allow it, not according to his readme any how.

Hi.

So I've done the find/replace part, and extracted the camber track to railworks/assets/camber/addon/railnetwork/textures, yet the track doesnt show up in-game (not even the default track, since it's been replaced out with the camber). I ticked "camber" in the Development Box, no luck.

Where exactly am I to place this camber track?

Mine only showed up after a restart of the whole TS2012 game. Then all the camber track was there.

Fodda, I've tried restaring the whole game several times. Where exactly have you placed the camber track?

Camber track goes in the Assets folder. You should see Assets\camber\ etc etc.

Then when in Railworks go to World Editor, access the right flick out panel and ensure that a tick is next to the camber selection. Hit the red Play button bottom left and save. You should then see the camber tracks the next time you either start the WCML-N route or after a restart of Railworks.

I think I remembered it correctly.

Actually there has been a tutorial on doing this on the RW_Tools site for the past 2 years :-)

However many thanks to Styckx for his excellent explanation of how to do this and for testing it on Trainworks 2012.

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).

Fodda, still no luck.

Camber track TgPcDx files goes here \Assets\camber\addon\railnetwork\textures. It think it is missing a reference point or something like that. The name "camber track/textures" shows up in RW, but even though I've ticked the box several times, the track is still missing.

I hope someone can help me out.
