Hello Mark,

Yep, I've deleted all 0 kb files, tgt, cost and bak files, have gone back and deleted absolutely everything I've installed since last Sunday both manually and through the package manager, got rid of the UKTS freeware pack folder altogether and all of the Route Building Challenge 3 layouts, trimmed down every route's scenarios, even deleting lots that I know I won't play on, there are a few left that I haven't got the locos for, but, this has never impeded me gaining access to the routes to create my own freeroams, so, nothing amiss on that score. I've reverted a lot of scenarios back to what they were as I'd changed the weather patterns, etc. Just gone in again now and I still get this cFxException error message on start up, so, I'll experiment on deleting my layouts, however, if nothing works, it might be back to the drawing board and deleting everything and re-installing the whole game from back-up, which hopefully, will cure the problem.

Thanks for the assist.

Hi

I had the Line: 113 error a few days ago and I had to reinstall RW and remove the railworks folder to the Rubbish Bin and then download RW again. You might need to download Raiworks few times to make it work. Remeber to backup any routes and assets that you have made to somewhere else than raiworks folder but you might need to start again or continue from an earlier backup though. But do this only when nothing else can help.

Yes, the only thing is, my Steam folder currently stands at 16.5 GB, and as I have a monthly limit on what I can download with my ISP, I can't do this every week, I'm sure that verifying my cache and subsequent folders being reacquired may eat away at my monthly limit, so, I can't be too extravagant with all this downloading business, I may wait until tomorrow when it's the 1st day of the month and WCML North is being updated through Steam anyway.

Thanks for the thought.

I think I just found a new favorite route! I love the sense of height and wilderness...great one in the snow.

Where would the line go before Settle? Could it extend on to another big hub?

This truly is a superb route - plenty of period detail (fantastic in winter) and just like the real thing (though I wasn't there in the 60's).

The truly superb thing is that it runs as sweet as anything, with good settings - no SBHH - No Vertexmanager etc. - pure joy.

I have this in a separate RW setup with Hedborough (actually, Immingham Docks) and Blythe & Tyne for that true East to West, Northern England BR transition and Blue experience :)

The line would split in two (at Hellifield, some 10 miles south of Settle), other end goes back to WCML at Lostock (not sure of the actual junction name...:) )
and part of that route is freight only altho there's always the need to diversionary route for WCML.
The other route leads to Leeds with some 30+ miles, probably close to 40 miles of track.

I have the track as far as Skipton some 10 miles from Hellifield, just going to add scenary then I want to finish the line to Hawes, then Leeds perhaps?

I downloaded and installed this route tonight after seeing the buzz here and watching some of Manuel's nice videos.

I'm having a little trouble. I downloaded all the files mentioned, including all the freeware packs. But when I try to run the first freeroam, I get a consist error listing the 16T Mineral Wagons/Grey_rust. I installed the Grey wagons that were listed in the related files, and even searched for Grey_rust and found a Grey_rusty and installed that, but am still missing the correct ones it would appear. Also, when I run RW_Tools, I get the following missing assets:

I also was missing the Kirkby nameboards, but found that in file 26413 and installed. Any help finding these missing assets and the missing wagons is appreciated.

Set your downloads search to Railsimulator with Decapod as the Author and it will show all his clutter packs, which will contain the items you need.

I think the wagons were a very early re-paint which were withdrawn and replaced, so you just need to substitute them in RWtools with one of the many alternatives.

Thanks. I only searched Railworks. I didn't think to search RS.

Okay, I found most of the missing items, including some missing stock for a couple of scenarios not listed on the readme. I couldn't find the LMS coaches for the Leeds stopping service scenario, but swapped them for the (VP) Maroon coaches.

I'm just down to this one missing scenery item:

I'm sure that the route will run fine without it. I'm off to test it out now.

RW_Tools is worth its weight in gold!

Yes, what a lovely route. You can really stretch your legs on it. I just ran up and over in the Hawes to Hellifield freeroam to get a sense of the route, and it was very nice! I noticed the distances to stations don't change in the F3 HUD, but I managed to stop at all of them okay. :-)

Thanks so much for such loving attention and wonderful work on this route. It was certainly worth the effort of tracking a few things down. Looking forward to lots of runs on her. I think I'm beginning to get the hang of kettles!
