Mountains have no texture

For some reason my mountains are just a greyish/Brownish color with no textures. Everything else looks great in the game it's just the mountains (although some of the passenger cars interiors are just black as if the lights were turned off in the car). I don't think it has to do with my computers graphics capabilities as it's a quad core processor with a geforce gts 450 1 GB graphics card. If I knew how to display a picture from within this post I would show you what I'm seeing. If you've heard of this issue please let me know. Thank you.

Are you running in legacy mode? If so there are known issues with the ground textures turning orange.
