Getting Candlewick

I'm hoping this is me just be stupid, but I cannot for the life of me find the Candlewick route. Having just got things working on the PC again, and wanted to get into this magnificent looking route. The newly re-packaged version is not available for me to download (I am a premium subscriber, so bandwidth should not be a problem...). I've tried the search function using Stephenholmes and Candlewick as criteria with no success, and it's not on the full listing of files.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

It's UKTS file 27429 - but it seems that even files uploaded by the most trusted uploaders still need approval, but that's where it will be when it goes live.

Good morning
I'm sorry that you have been unable to download Candlewick
It will be back in the library very soon together with Brian Yeomans re skins and the last locos and carriages Michael created
before his untimely death
The loco pack will use the freeware pack installer so that there is no need to mess about changing files etc
The reason Candlewick was removed from the library was due to a change in the terms and conditions of the freeware pack
Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused it was not of my making and outside of my control
I hope Candlewick continues to provide enjoyment for some considerable time to come
Thank you to all the asset providers who kindly agreed to their assets being included with the packaged route
Kind regards Stephen

My apologise to those that have been unable to download Candlewick over the coming days. There was some additional content added and a separate problem to resolve but as Stephen says it is all now sorted and just waiting for some technical stuff in the file library to make it live again.

Thanks

Jim

Hi,

I have downloaded the freeware pack and run the installer.
I get as far as the missing items window which says I need IOW RailWorks Expansion Pack :-?
I look up the package manager and it says I have IOW_rs.
My question is would I need to "Up grade" my RS IOW? just to get Candlewick to work or is there a way around the Missing Items window?

Good morning
I am sorry to read you are having a problem installing the route not sure what is going on there to be honest?
Perhaps another member may be able to advise you further
Candlewick should be fine whichever version of the IOW route you have
I hope this is of some help
Kind regards Stephen

Did you get the IOW from steam or was it somewhere else?

The installer checks for the existence of the IOW Route. If that does not exist it tells you it is missing. Now it maybe that the RS Version has some different files and so it fails the detection process. Can you help me out by supplying some info and I will see if I can sort that out for you.

First of all are you using RailWorks?
Does the following folder exist in your installation:
RailWorks\Content\Routes\6268b042-6154-4ec9-b060-bcc702dd18e3\
If so please tell me if there is a "RouteProperties.xml" file in there.

A screenshot of the contents of that folder would be a big help.

Thanks

Jim
