Just found this thread and tried out the editting on my copy of Bristol-Exeter. I have to say that I put in a value of 20 and found that to be an excellent value for main line running.

Also edited the NEC which was at a bone-jarring 50! Brought this down to 20 and it now looks much mre realistic.
I can see an afternoon of adding lineunevenness values to all my routes coming along soon.
And once I've done them I'll save them all to a zip file with paths enabled so that after any Steam updates I can just unzip the lot into my Railworks folder (just like I've done with my Class 101 gear and headlight patch, and my Class 66 headlight patch files).

My friend didn't have time to test it and I don't have the route, so this is just a guess. I think >20< may be the value you want to increment. You have nothing to lose by trying it.
