It would be even better if they could change the colour of the track and ballast. Always feel i should be wearing sun glasses. always seems very bright textures to me.

Very nice video showcases of the 67 advanced, I somewhat like the idea of JTs moving into a advanced series of releases instead of long stagnations of releases, I feel the advanced series is also a pretty good step since well you already have Just Flight's version with the captain editions and above of the aircraft so I don't see why it couldn't also be done for Railworks to.

JT, please redo the Class 66 to have fully functional goods timed brakes and a train length button!

It's not their 66 mate. Published for RSDL.DescendingSadly wrote:JT, please redo the Class 66 to have fully functional goods timed brakes and a train length button!

Re: Just Trains Class 67
Wow. This could be the first occasion that I've bought the same locomotive twice from different developers. Already got the RSC 67 which is nice, but there's too much non-functional stuff in the cab, whereas I'm liking the driving/realism features shown in that video.
Can I just echo the earlier comment about really needing independent/manual control of marker lights, tail lights, and day/night headlight. Maybe it has them, but they weren't mentioned in the video and to have all those other features (especially such superbly adjustable cab lighting) and not include full external light controls would seem a bit odd. After driving Oovee's DMUs, these kind of things become noticeable by their absence in other units.
And if Just Trains are reading this, I note that attention has been paid to acceleration and braking timings based on real life. This is great, but I hope it avoids the pitfalls that lots of stock falls into, whereby the performance on full throttle is roughly realistic/believable, but performance on partial throttle is complete rubbish and defies the laws of physics on how diesel-electric locos work (often either hitting a fake speed limiter, or needing next to no throttle to maintain 90+ mph). Delayed engine & amperage response, needing significant amounts of power to cruise at high speeds and suchlike are all must-haves on any stock I purchase these days.
This "advanced" series is looking rather good so far, though. If the same treatment is given to the 153, could I beg that Just Trains, Oovee and Thomson all co-operate to ensure the 15x series are all compatible and functional with regard to engine controls, rpm, sounds, braking etc in the way that the 150 and 156 are? Unless Oovee or Thomson are planning on doing their own 153, then such functionality only adds value to their own 150 and 156. I understand it's quite common for a 153 to be coupled to a 2-car Sprinter to boost capacity in some parts of the country.

Re: Just Trains Class 67
I agree completely regarding realism, the more stock like this there is the better. DRA, DVA, delayed throttle responce etc are all essential to the realism of a train driving simulator in my book, in fact this is why I often turn to BVE
. Good to see that RW in becoming closer and closer to BVE in terms of realism.
Re: Just Trains Class 67
JT have been asked to include independent control of marker, tail and day/night lights on their facebook page, one person asked if it would be possible to have the taill lights on at both ends of the loco. They have said that they are looking into it, but they are not sure if it is possible on a single loco. JT pointed out that it works on the class 156 and 150 units because they are effectively two locos coupled together. I have no idea about the technicality's of this sort of thing, so i will take JT's word for it! I too have the RSC '67', but i will most definitely be buying this one too!

One thing I have noticed is that there should be more of a delay when applying the throttle, it seems instant on the videos!
Great work though Just trains,
