Another one for the pile...Cannot drive Class 390

Post by VernonDozier »

I tried a couple scenarios with the pendolino and discovered that the brakes will not release from around 76% no matter what. Is there a way I can fix this on my own?

Has it been updated recently? reason I ask is, I haven't driven it for a couple of weeks, but it always was OK, even with the Raildriver.

If you haven't tried it already, I'm finding that pausing and then continuing the scenario solves minor keyboard and raildriver freezes. This can be boiled down to pressing the esc key twice. Having said that, most of my freezes are Raildriver related, and most serious keyboard problems are preceded by graphics problems.

Do you get any cab graphics problems before the brake control disappears? (Things like flickering needles on brake gauges and speedo, cab vibration and buttons etc. looking like they're working loose)

well seeing as many of you have it working it must be on my end then...

quickthorn: It is a total brake LOCKDOWN  . Neither pausing, saving and then reloading, or pressing every key on the keyboard fixes it. The brakes are locked to 76% as if the doors were open. Very strange problem that I have no clue how to fix!

Does anyone know for sure if there was a 390 update since RW3 came out?

Well I don't know for certain, but I would think not, I run TS 2012 in on-line mode with Steam for the most part and haven't gone off-line mode for well over 2 weeks now.
My main PC ( this one ) is on connected to BB, 24/7.
Might be time for a cache verify?

Yes, a couple of days after release. When RW3 came out, the 390 would not move at all.

Well I didn't even know that, must have been asleep. :-?
Thinking about it though, nothing of mine moved when TS 2012 came out. :-?

Mine does this to! It worked fine, and I came back a while later (after resuming the scenario) and it wouldn't move, F5 display showed brakes fully on

When I ran mine earlier I didn't go far, just checked that it drove and braked correctly.
I've since had another go with it for about 20 minutes or so and it still drives OK but it's tilting the wrong way. :-?

Mine seems to be OK. I drove from Preston to Wigan last night without a problem in Legacy Mode.
Kind regards James.

I tried a winter scenario and it works. Seems like it's only certain scenarios.

Tried it again, where it should be, WCML, and it's performing properly. ( TSX mode )
