HST Buffer Cabview Problem

I have had the HST Buffer since it came out. Today, I bought the NMT Scenario Pack from Armstrong Powerhouse, it is all fine except when I get in the cab, there are loads of lines and different colours in the windows. Has anybody else had this problem or is it because it needs updating for TS2012?

Thank You

Currently the supplied vehicles from Steam only work properly with TSX mode off, Oovee are aware. There is a Network Rail Reskin by David Hossack that works with TSX mode on which you can find here http://uktrainsim.com/filelib-info.php? ... leid=23308

Be advised that unless Armstrong has very recently updated the NMT Scenario pack, the NMT HST that is bundled with its 'extra stock' is the original, non-TS2012 version.

I did have the same problem and from what I understand the problem lay in the cabveiw orientation difference between the RW2 and RW3 models.

While doing light modifications for all the RW2 reskined HST's, I found that on the whole the textures appear to follow the new model. Armed with keyboard and wordpad ( pen and paper as back up!) I set about updating the HST's I have from RW2 and have now changed them all over to the new effects model. It isn't something I would advise doing unless you are fairly competant ( or as foolhardy as me!!) in editing .bin files. The reskins are too my eyes okay, but then I am no expert as to wether the textures are exactly where they should be. They look fine to me and I'm happy with the results

The HST buffers are no more than a child object added to the main model, so adding them to the models\reskins they were intended for can be done, but it isn't a two minute job. It can be a royal pain. Backing up every time you make a slight change or launching TS0212 20 times an hour while you adjust an objects position. Once done though it is nice to have a buffered fleet of HST's with all the effects.

I am quite sure that eventually updates will come through for the various RW2 products that require updating, but it all takes time. It's just that I ain't that patient.
