Just Received the update for 380

Post by brummie »

Noticed an update came through, correctly guessed it must be for the 380, went into GARL and tested a scenario and low and behold, rain on windscreen. Will check to see the reverse cab issues are fixed, should be.

That's an unexpected surprise :D :o

I thought we'd have to wait another week or so, what with the 455 update being rolled out yesterday. It's now also drivable from both ends again! :)

Very nice.

The rain drops are perfectly sized too, which makes the rain effects which came with the TS2012 release look a little obsolete already!

I'm not constantly logged in to Steam (i.e I tell it NOT to start with Windows), so perhaps try exiting Steam and re-logging in again. :)

I usually see the syncronizing message after a gameplay session. All that seems to happen is that the hours played counter updates.

If you've allowed "Steam Cloud" for TS2012, it'll always synchronise when you end the game. It's uploading files which tell you which scenario has been completed, how many hours you've been on in this session, etc.. :)

Further to my earlier post, just did the early shift to check the station lights and it does seem to light up better than before. The platform areas seem much brighter, anyone else notice this? Ran another scenario for the whole run and would seem everything now works as it should with of course the rain and lights. A happy bunny!

It isn't spyware.

Steam cloud is completely optional but will save well on other games. The graphical options chosen, save games things like that.

For example, play through Fallout New Vegas, you fully upgrade with a new system as long as the files are synced you then will be able to continue the game you were on instead of starting a new one. It is an incredibly handy option to use and backs up the scores i believe for Railworks. As said can easily be turned off if you don't want any information transmitted.

Rising Storm -Name is in the credits :D - To Do scenario, where you go along at 50mph in a Pendo? Who would play it?
Anyone want to help in Play Testing future Rising Storm/ Ro2 Maps? If so please PM me.

Yeah, I was attempting humour, which I find to be next to impossible via a keyboard.

To get back OT, just had a hurl round a rainswept Hamilton circle and very impressed with the 380 rain effect. Hope that the 156 and 170 get the same treatment soon and that the already updated TS2012 core loco's get brought up to the same standard.

My fault then :P just a lot of mis-repersenting of steam etc has been going on a lot.

Got to say as well im impressed with the rain effects also for the taillight glow as well.
Still have to say one of the nicest looking EMU's especially since seen a few now around Waverly station.
