Weather change?

Hi all,

Just asking if there is a way to change the weather in a scenario in railworks 3 as when i make a free roam i am bored of the usual sunny day weather. Cheers,

You just need to boot the editor and there should be a hidden box on the right side, hover over that area and a pop out should appear with scenario details and you can adjust the weather from there. Alternatively if you can find the freeroam scenario marker double click that ot have that menu pop out aswell.

Thanks for the reply but i still can't do it, could you or anyone else do me some screenies of where it is?

Have a look at this video:

You will see a "Fly-out" on the right hand side of the screen at about 0:19, you can see the weather selector (the cloud icon) on that Fly-out at the bottom, click on the down arrow for other weather types to appear. Select the one you want press F2 to 'save' and leave the Editor.

First thing to make sure its all working is boot the scenario up in the scenario editor and not the world editor, if you do it via world editor you will need to click on the train icon on the top left flyout, click through that hitting yes for saving and such and it'll load into the scenario part.

It'll end up looking something like this on first load:



See the small thin grey line on the right? Move mouse over there and the following should pop out:



Then its just a matter of changing the weather from that dropdown menu with the cloud icon on it, hit the play button, save scenario and new weather condition will be in effect.
