Loco lights

I would like to draw attention to something I've come across while following the various peices of information provided for altering the lights on locomotives. Having tackled the class 47 suggestions and adding the cablight I decided that I would like more of my loco's to be brought up to the same level.
I started with the HST's and having found that I could get the reskins moved onto the new model and have lights, rain and buffered versions as well. I looked at the xml file with regards to the lights and found what I think is a fault. When an engine is not connected to anything both the tailights and head light beam are visible. Not being a rail expert by any means, I assume that there are times when these engines move on their own to where ever they need to attach to other units etc. So I assume that a rear lamp would be attached to the rear during such moves. Maybe some one can tell me if this is so or not.
By altering the lights section of the xml I now have a loco that does not have the tail and main beams showing at the same time. I have added an extra fwd mainlight to the right side as the shadow of only one buffer (left side) was visible originally. At least to me it looks a little more realisic given the light configuration of the engine.
I would just like to take this oppertunity to thank every one who contributes to this forum. Without the information provided by the users of this forum I doubt that Railworks would look as good as it does now, and will look even better in the future.
I Thank you all.
