A very small section of that is in the NEC though, assuming that is the river line from Trenton?, although not that much to be useful though!
Actually it never joins the NEC at all. Part of its track just parallels (elevated above it) the NEC for about 30ft on the Trenton approach.
You can see it here in the beginning as the NEC passes on the left. Don't mind the filmmakers boring commentary. (not me)

Nice touch, Matt. I'll put you in for a biscuit, when the time comes. That dutch site: "Ik ben een Nederlander"
A few good links here too:

I meant in the Railworks NEC Route rather than on the actual NEC itself

I like the US trains, got the challenger and bigboy, I'd like to see some of the classic old "Wild West" locos with the fat smoke stacks and cow catchers, maybe with a few arrows sticking out of the wagons

The only thing I don't like about the Horse Shoe is the 15mph limits, I know it's realistic but I just want to open the throttle.

An iconic set if ever I saw one
If they did that, they could build out into the desert and do LA to LV back in the day when LV still had a railway station
On my wall next to my desk I have a calendar that we bought at the Sacramento RR museum last year entitled "Those Remarkable Trains". October has one of these magnificent beasties as the focus:
Rik.

Paint that one black and it'd look like Darth Vader.

Hey, that's my video! I shot it in 2005, I think. My first experience of seeing American trains driving down the street, which is not that unusual over here. I love the sound of those US horns and hear them all day long where I live, which is not far from Jack London Square.
