You might think so
but the "What are You Listening To" and the "Station Name Game" threads in the Open Forum are currently on parts 8 and 9 respectively, with no signs of giving up yet!

I loved my visit to the A1, I felt so special for the day being allowed to climb all over her.
Happy times.

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 4)
I am loving the new lighting engine! It makes up for the two weeks I have spent shouting at my computer, as it refused to play WCML North above 14fps.
Now that I have everything sorted I'll just leave this here:

cheers for that mate. but already got it on the day it came out in 2009. Just really would fancy it in more of a variety of colours (like what they have done with the 47 (NSE Livery))
Cheers

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 4)
That did it Don, thanks for this workaround; RW starts much faster nowLoneWolfDon wrote:Yeah, I was getting the "First time set up" problem every time too, even after the updates & patches, but, I've figured out a workaround that seems to fix it for me.
Go to your folder where your have railworks installed.
Find the following file there:
"installscript.vdf" , and make a backup of it first before making any changes.
Open this file with something such as notepad or some raw text-editor program.
Find the following line:
Code:
"Run Process"
then add a double-slash to it so it looks like this:
Code:
// "Run Process"
Save the changes. Now when I launch RailWorks3, I no longer get bothered with the first-time-set-up problem and it goes straight into launching without problems.
Not sure if this workaround will work for all of you that have this similar problem, but it seems to work fine for me.
If you want to just prevent a certain part of that set-up script from running, just add the double slash, //, in front of it.
For example, to prevent the script from trying to install flash every time, make that part of the script to look like this:
Code:
// "Flash"
Cheers!

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 4)
Now the real A1 is in Brunswick it would be nice to see it in game in the same livery.
