No longer in total control of the trains since the update.

Noticed weird behaviour on the 166, and also some of the German stock. When moving the combined handle, either by mouse, keyboard, or the F4 view, something strange happens.
e.g. when the handle is in 70% acceleration, and I press D (or drag the lever), instead of going down it shoots to 100% power.
When the handle is in a braking position, when trying to move it either way it goes straight to emergency brake by itself sometimes. This makes it much harder to do a smooth controlled stop when the handle keeps going one way or another.
It's been like this since the first update to RW3, and is still there in v6.7c.

Hi
This phenomenon is not directly related to RW2012, as I've experienced it sporadically when using a mouse and the HUD for some time.

I have just done an email to Support about the 166. Hopefully they will get a reply out soon.

I used to get this with the Class 450 in RW2. I experience this with the class 166 also now in RW3. I also find the class 166 combined throttle handle very difficult to control, it seems to sensitive with a tap of the D key very quickly hitting the emergency brakes.

I am not sure also if the Class 86 Tap Changer is working correctly. Certainly there is a problem with the 390 too.

Hmm. I did have a 4 month break from RW2 before the update so might have encountered it before but forgotten it.
It is really annoying and needs to be addressed though. If it makes any difference at all I am running it in legacy mode on high settings, and get a bit over 20fps most of the time.

I think it would be useful if there was a key to drop one notch, or up one notch, and to notch up twice requires two key presses.

Indeed. I never got on with the percentage based controllers in either MSTS or RW, I always preferred BVE style notches. However in the Hitachi it seems to work really well, apart from not matching in the F4 display.

Hm, that would be fairly easy to script, actually. If I get time I'll try something.
