From my point of view; it does sound like a good idea - particularly if I get into content creation at any time; however I would mainly be concerned with how to strip out "non-default" stuff first to create my blank sheet?
Hi Geoff,

To get a set of Asset/Content folders which only hold the default items, move your RailWorks folder out of the Steam folder (move it somewhere on the same disk as this is fast, moving it to another disk involves a copy and takes a long time).

Then get Steam to reinstall RailWorks and you will only get the Default files plus any packages you have bought through Steam. Most of these will be in the Assets\RSC folder, so you can delete them and that will leave you with a 'Clean Default Set'. Rename the folders appropriately and move your full version back.

I Know that the multiple Asset/Content sets is the only way I can run about 50% of the routes.

Anything that would help the process would be welcomed until we get proper error handling in TS2012

OK. It's on the long todo list. I'll probably add a few more requirements in: dependency oj files, auto mode, etc. User just states what scenario he wants to play, train store loads up required asset, loco and content files, and bam railworks appears.

thanks,
