Can someone explain to me why I can no longer take screenshots either using Steam's Screenshot manager or Irfanview (my usual weapon of choice)...?

I'm getting more and more cheesed off with TS2012.

"Some say"... Is it defauled to use F12 ? If you press Shift and Tab in game it will show you the key its set to use.

Is the built-in screenshot function that uses Ctrl+S or the screenshot button on the HUD broken as well?

Yep, F12 is the key but it won't capture, Ctrl S doesn't work and neither does the HUD button... Lost...

Why not try Alt and Prt Scr and then open the capture in your graphics program.

I use the print screen button on half screen through steam, set to about 800 x 7 something so you can use the half screen and not have to use full screen. Also, you can't take screen shots in full screen, also, do you have a print screen button on your keyboard, if not you can probably find a keyboard that has one at a flea market or something.

Thats completely wrong, you certainly can.

Sorted! Alt + Prt Scr does it now! It used to only work (before the upgrade) by pressing C and then pasting into Irfanview.

the notion `IF IS NOT BROKEN THEN DONT FIX` springs to mind why remove things that people use

I don't think it has been removed. I have been taking screenshots using CTRL + S for the freeware packs quite a lot over the recent days since the release.

I found that the sim looses keyboard functions at different times in both play and editing modes.

I'm seeing that too, in particular switching from "World Edit" to "Scenario Mode" and then > Play button. Quiting to Main Menu and then playing from there resets the keyboard though..

I've tried this too, and the keyboard does appear to reset. However, it again looses functionality after 15-30 minutes, which wouldn't be a show stopper except that it takes a long while to reload a route.

What's broken here? Am I missing something?

The steam screenshots have never worked for me, I can only use the Printscreen key on my keyboard.
