I have never even used it. Before the advent of the in built screenshot function, I used to use Fraps to capture multiple screenshots. Then the function was introduced which allowed me to just press "Ctrl-S" and have used that ever since without issue.SHEEP wrote:The steam screenshots have never worked for me

Re: Getting hacked off now.
Steam client -> settings -> ingame, check is actually set to the key and ingame community bit is toggled on, won't work otherwise.
Game Library -> TS2012 -> right click -> properties -> general -> Enable steam community ingame
If neither of those work(screenshot function is a community tool, as it uploads afterward to steam cloud) then your steam install might have gone abit after the client updates recently.

I would echo this comment. The only reason I use anything other than Ctrl+S is if I need the screenshot to show OSD elements like the HUD or asset selection boxes in the world editor.Darpor wrote:I have never even used it. The almost fortnightly threads full of people ignoring this perfectly functional tool astound me! Really, what's so complex about using a simple control that doesn't require any copy/paste routine or installing extra programs and even saves them in a near-lossless format?
