In terms of image quality, what' s the best configuration?
Is better set 8x anisotropic in game or force 16x anisotropic in nvidia control panel?
In second case, how to set anisotropic in TS 2012?
My graphics adapter is the GTX460.
Thanks!

It should be safe to set 16x anisotropy in the control panel, and your card should have enough horsepower to do it justice. It is the antialiasing settings that you have to leave alone.
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

Re: TS 2012, nvidia & anisotropic filtering
While I haven't (yet) tried it in TS2012 specifically, with modern video cards there is little to no performance loss going from 8x to 16x anisotropic filtering, but a noticable improvement of image quality. My advice therefore is to force 16x in the nVidia control panel, in which case the setting in TS2012 doesn't matter (so just leaving it at 8x will be fine).2slow4u wrote:In terms of image quality, what' s the best configuration?
