Raindrops on the windscreen in RW3

Hi All,

The publicity and some screen shots have shown rain hitting the windscreen when driving in the new update. This is not happening in my set up, what have I got wrong? I have all the graphics set to maximum, a quad core processor (no idea what spec) ATI radeon HD5700 series graphics and 4GB DDR RAM. I have tried with the class 47, 37, HST, 166 and trains on the new Horseshoe Curve route.

Anyone got any suggestions? Apart from that love the new update!

Have you clicked the TSX engine box on the opening settings screen?

It all works okay on my system. I know that's no help to you, but it does bring me to a small point.

Just about all the posts we have seen from folks with problems running RW3 seem to be for those using "dual, quad multi core" set-ups.

I have a single core P4 2.8GHZ, 3GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4800 card system and am not experiencing the many problems that have been posted.

Is it any way possible that the problems are being caused by using more than one core?

Excuse me if this sounds daft - computers are not my strong point.
