If you tap the A button, the emergency brakes go on.
Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 3)
You could have also checked the brake / throttle.
its not working at all.

Yes all sorts of things seem to happen to it.

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 3) Adobe Flash Player Installer/u
Yeah, I was getting the "First time set up" problem every time too, even after the updates & patches, but, I've figured out a workaround that seems to fix it for me.TheTazman wrote:Acutally i saw this the last few times i loaded TS too. But i see it for about a quarter of a second.
Are you chaps seeing it longer than this?

I know there is a solution in this thread somewhere but with so many posts I cannot tlocate it anymore:
How do you get rid of this 'Performing first Setup - Adobe Flash Player Installer/uninstaller 10.3 r183...' that appears every time when you start Railworks?
Thanks for responses
Jos
Go to your folder where your have railworks installed.
Find the following file there:
"installscript.vdf" , and make a backup of it first before making any changes.
Open this file with something such as notepad or some raw text-editor program.
Find the following line:
Code: Select all
"Run Process"Code: Select all
// "Run Process"Not sure if this workaround will work for all of you that have this similar problem, but it seems to work fine for me.
If you want to just prevent a certain part of that set-up script from running, just add the double slash, //, in front of it.
For example, to prevent the script from trying to install flash every time, make that part of the script to look like this:
Code: Select all
// "Flash"---Don.

I've spotted them, You have to be down low, close to the ground to see them, They only show from below,Traveller54 wrote:I have just run that scenario (out of the box) for 5 miles and everything, for me anyway, is where it should be?jetstream wrote:Not there all the time. If I knew how to post a piccy I would do so.
Try doing a verify to see if you have a corrupted file?
btw, first time I have used the Class55 under TSX; nice!!!
If you're looking forward they appear infront of the loco and move over the first coach when looking back.

I've been to Eastbourne too, So what!

Talking of things in the sky , is it just me or does the Depth of Field seem to affect Birds etc no matter where they are.. IE they are permanently out of focus.

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 3)
Thanks SHEEP. I wasn't imagining it, after all.
Perfect illustration.

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 3)
The SD70Ace has this problem with the fans floating away from the loco so this is not the only stock that has this problem. I guess it's just another thing for RSC to add to it's to do list.

Sorry I mislead you jetstream - I was on the 'high ground' and once I went lower there they were. This happens with the two defaults, blue & green btw.jetstream wrote:Thanks SHEEP. I wasn't imagining it, after all.

I have sent a message to support pointing this out with the Class55s & the SD70ace (thanks Merlin).

Re: Train Simulator 2012 (Part 3)
I havwe just tried this scenario and have a similar problem. The floating fan grills are only visible when looking from a very low level exterior view and in my case looking back along the train. They hover above the rear cab and the front of the first coach. I don't get them looking forward but they are there hovering a few feet above each colour light signal I pass. An AI Deltic coming the other way has them hovering above it as well.SHEEP wrote:I've spotted them, You have to be down low, close to the ground to see them, They only show from below,Traveller54 wrote:I have just run that scenario (out of the box) for 5 miles and everything, for me anyway, is where it should be?jetstream wrote:Not there all the time. Very weird, but not exactly earth-shattering!
