It does mention on there site they are doing the purchases manual via paypal payments for the time being, I would also check the spam mail section of your email I found the download link email this morning in there instead of my usual inbox area.

Bought and downloaded the Maunsells yesterday. Put them into a couple of stopping services in a Bath - Templecombe scenario together with the DT 2P instead of the default Mk1s/7F - a definate improvement.
A bit of a strange choice to have both the brakes and 'normal' coach be composites though? Especially when the prototypical consist on S&D apparently were to single-class brakes bracketing a composite? Would've allowed for more freedom of choice (and more realistic consist) if both the brake and coach were available as both composite and single class...

These are very good models - thanks DT. However I agree that the selection of coaches is odd.

SR coaches ran in fixed "sets", which for longer trains would be combined as required with individual "strengthening" coaches and catering vehicles.

Usual Maunsell 2-coach sets:
Brake Composite-Open Second
Brake Third-Brake Composite

Usual 3 Coach Sets:
Brake Third-Composite-Brake Third
Brake Composite-Third-Brake Composite

There were also larger sets with more exotic combinations.

DT have modelled a 6-compartment brake composite and a 7 compartment composite. However these would not have appeared in any 2 or 3 coach formation, as this would have meant a surfeit of first class seats. A brake 3rd would have worked better.

Hopefully DT will expand this set in due course, maybe with some catering vehicles as well. I'd be happy to fork out again.

I agree that having a brake third rather than a brake composite would have been more prototypical for the fixed sets on the S&D. Still they are very nice models and I can't wait for some talented person to do some repaints in pre-war Maunsell lined olive-green livery. I look forward to some more Maunsell coaches from DT in the future.

I don't know if anyone else has tried the scenarios that came with the coaches. but there is a fault with the "DT - Return from Radstock" scenario.

The Bournemouth to Birmingham AI train crashes into a rake of coaches in Bath Green Park Siding 1 and halts the scenario.

Making a clone of the scenario, unlocking the route and removing the three coaches in Bath Green Park Siding 1 will fix the problem.

That crash didn't happen on mine? Odd. Can anybody else complete the scenario?

My email with download link came in approx. 1.5 hours after I did the purchase in Paypal. No personal information was asked... :o Now this was last night, a Sunday night, not bad.

Have you checked the spam folder of your email? the DT order download link email went into my hotmail spam folder for some reason, if not there you will need to drop a mail in with DT.

(and maybe some Bullied coaches for local services)
These would have been the Eastleigh built early MK1 types. I have been looking at the specs for these for an MSTS project, but with the arrival of 3D Crafter in my tool chest, they may well find their way onto RW pages.
