Gentlemen! Before the perambulator loses its entire consignment of toys, let's calm down and be friendly towards each other, please. Disagreements are fine but keep opinions respectful, courteous and reasonable - some of the above are perilously close to overstepping the mark, if they haven't already.

OK, my take on this (and this will probably be my last post in this thread before the product release):

By keeping the new Class 50 in the same folder structure and using the same naming convention as the old one, one has the advantage that already existing scenarios will automatically use the new model. Also, anyone creating scenarios in the future, won't have to create two different versions for the scenarios, based on whether the creator (or downloader) has the old or the new version. There are problems enough with old scenarios due to new versions of rolling stock using a different folder structure... (i.e. DT's Mk1s and Mk2s). So I'd say it'd be a major advantage to keep the folder structure and naming convention of the old model.

(I think the point Darpor was trying to make was something along the same lines)
