Thank you. But can you just clear it in more detail. I am absolutely new to this steam and found for te first time today.
Can you please note down steps ?
I am sorry.
How could you be "new" to Steam and found it only today if you were using RW2 previously?

Never mind, your PM explains it all.

Since release I have only driven in RW3 once(on the default route) and done nothing else due to all routes in editor looking like this http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/7656 ... 5334459669 (screenshot taken on Matt's GCR) and I have tried to fix it by trying different screen resolutions but it doesn't work and now ALL routes are effect in driver and editor. Does anyone know a fix?

Have you got good frame rates?

Any inclination as to why? V4 was one of the first things I checked this morning and it is all working as intended, I haven't got a seperate V3 installed though.

Nope :) that's the price of the lack of testing before the release, and of the bugs like that (cause it's a bug. If it isn't then tsx engine have serious problems).
I hope you're right mate, but I do have a very poor set up including Intel integrated graphics ;)
Oh. Intel graphics? I that case maybe you see the real performance :)

Can I suggest to the mods as this thread is racing towards page 99 that a new one be opened where people can let others know what is thier best settings on what pc?
It just seems to be a bit difficult trying to find information when the thread is going ten to the dozen on such an open subject.
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

The TSX engine completely kills my cheap laptop with built-in Intel graphics (kinda as expected) but still, from what I was able to see... Speechless. I don't think it is possible to get much closer to photorealistic graphics.
Which route?
And the settings you did use please :)
Time of day.
thx!

Basic settings on the launcher, most settings in-game maxed out, TSX on. The route was the TestTrak, with the default Super Express scenario, start time I think was at 12:00

Railworks never reports less than 14 fps. Does it look like a slideshow? Does it take 20 mins to run 10 mins of game time?
