Does anyone know how to get the rear powercar to play the engine sounds on an HST set? I had it working a while back but now my HST's have stopped playing ball.

http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... &sk=t&sd=a this should help you :)

The HST Buffer pack is a bit more complex but i have got all apart from the IC one to work and re-added the buffers that disaper from the GC reskin sometimes.

Thanks for the link Chris. I forgot how much of a pain it is having to edit each coach in the set.

Oh well, back to work

You are welcome, and yup i know it is :/ got back ups for all the HST files now anyway since how long it took. But also did the loco' hauled stock as well, which is good.

Just as said the buffered stock is a bit more annoying to set up though, but is do-able.

You can purchase them at: http://armstrongpowerhouse.com/

they will completely change your outlook on the default Railworks HST's. Richard also makes scenario packs for most of the payware routes avaliable on Railworks.

His website is defo worth a look.

Hi Marcus

The updates ARE free of charge but you need to have purchased the originals first (otherwise there'd be nothing to update...) :) .

In that case, all you need to do is go onto the AP website, log on to your account there and re-download the sounds you've already purchased - these will be the new updated versions.

Richard,
many thanks for all these free upgrades.

I decided to re-download every single sound and enhancement pack that I'd bought, and I think only one proved to contain no updates. I did notice that there were also scenario package updates in four of the files (compared to what I already had), so thought I should re-download the "extra stock" packs for those four as well. I'm glad I did, as all four of those contained updates when compared to the files I originally downloaded.

This did make me think that it would be helpful if either your product pages and / or the page that shows for each order placed by a user could also show the date on which the relevant file was last updated. It would then be a very simple matter to compare the date shown against the date of the copy already held by the user.

Just a thought,
moi
