Well the lines passed for 60mph running... as long as its with a test train...
Maybe a class 37 on HST coaches could count?

Could I maybe make a small suggestion?
How about D5830 in it's current "golden ochre" livery? 8) :D
If I remember correctly from my driving experience and chatting to the guys there, parts are cleared for 75mph with possession. You'd need the 45 or 47 to manage it though.

I was thinking about the 31 in ochre, I do like that colour. I took some pics to get a colour match so will have a go.

Well done to Matt and the team, it's great to see a community effort. And from one route builder to another, it's got great detail, but is not overdone, which is a very hard balance to get right. It captures the feel, which is so important.

Payware quality? You wouldn't ever get something as good and comprehensive as this as payware :D :o

Cheers

This is an excellent route, took me a while to install all the assets, most i already had installed. I had a quick fly through the route and it does look good, looks Payware quality but better! I did notice I had some texture missing from a fence, does anyone know what i need?

Hi,

Yes I had that missing when Testing, but forgot what it was. It may have been Post n Rail Fencing (was UKTS 18081) from "Him who cannot be mentioned" site under Free Products. Check with RWTools.

Hi havenonamenoreallyidont,

Do you mean the New loading screen.rwp file? If so, then yes you must load it if you want to see Matts GCR Loading screen.

Just got this installed, and had a quick blast down the line from Loughborough to Leicester in 45305, and I am gobsmacked!
The quality of the detailing is fabulous. I have not had the pleasure of visiting the real GCR (yet!), but after just one trip down the free-roam, I feel like I've actually spent my Bank Holiday Saturday there!
I can recognise most of what I've seen from the TV that I've seen this week on Discovery Shed.

Fabulous work guys, and a huge thank you from me for all your hard work!!

Regards
Dave H.

Oops, yes, that's what I meant! Thanks for the advice.

Looking forward to trying the route out; thank you to all those who made it possible.

Well we've got everything else, besides the yellow 37, and a class 33/1. So it only makes sense to have the entire diesel fleet! :D
See, I'm a diesel enthusiast, so the steam side of things doesn't really interest me.
Well I am interested in it, but it doesn't give the same excitement as for instance a class 31 does! :)
But I'm not called pedned for nothing... 8)

I dare say that might well be the default track makeover missing. Lots of developers forget to list it in requirements, myself included with the Far North Line

Just installed this and I have to say I am astounded!! I confess I have not been following the development of this as it's not something I thought I'd be interested in but I thought I'd install it and have a spin, well blow me down I am lost for words!! This is something truly special and completely free, what a credit to the creators, outstanding work gents.

It has to be the best preserved railway recreation I've ever seen for a simulator. I am going to get to work creating some diesel gala scenarios for this right away!!

I thought I had the default track make over installed already. But it seems not.
Just installed it, and it's fixed the problem. :D
And wow! The route is stunning, sorry for taking so long to write back, but I've just had a mini-diesel gala... 2 Round trips, one with a visiting 31601, and the other with resident D8098! 8)

This route is immense, no other word for it... the scenery is second-to-none. I tell you what though, on entering Quorn and Woodhouse and having a look around, the only thing missing is the taste of their cakes :D In all seriousness though this route is the best that's been done for Railworks yet. Thank you!
