Touchscreen Monitors

Hi Everybody.
Since having a galaxy tab I have become a great fan of touchscreen technology. I am now thinking of buying a touchscreen monitor for my PC.

I was wondering if there is anyone on the forum that has used a touchscreen monitor in railworks. Would there be any benefit when using world editor or when just driving a consist.

I would imagine it would be great if you touch the actual cab controls on a locomotive to make them move and change the performance of the engine.

So, has anyone had any experience, as their advice would be most appreciated. Buying the monitor would in the main be for other uses on the PC, but having it enhance Railworks and my other simulators would certainly give it a much bigger "joy factor" reason for buying.

With thanks in advance for any replies.
Bill

Yeah, I have a Dell Inspiron One 23. Although it has been about 4 months since I last used RW, the touch screen worked surprisingly well. You can press buttons in the cab and move the brake/power levers by touching the screen.

I have also used it with Flight Simulator 2004, it is actually easier to press a button with the touchscreen than with the mouse when flying. Even in OMSI it works to a certain extent. However, no matter what the game is, you will not be able to pan around the cab/flight deck with it.
