Over the years I have enjoyed the benefits of the community, enjoying other peoples work, and would dearly like to but something back, particularly in the areas of scenario and route creation.
The snag is I have had some half harted attemps at bothI have never got anywhere, the snag is I dont learnwell from video's, so this is my idea
How about a couple of symposiums, or whatever you would want to call them, in a central area, one for scenario creation, and one for basic route building, where people exparainced and capable at both could pass on the knowlege, to the likes of me
I know something like this took place a few years ago for route building in MSTS.
I would be very happy to help with organisation

You may give scenario creation another try. It's not really difficult when you gain some experience, but expect to spend at least 20 hours before you create anything satisfactory. Start simple, just a player train and make go from A to B. Keep your scenario short, 15 minutes is good for a start. Then start adding some static consists. And, yes you need to read the manual and tutorials. In the end it is worth the trouble, when you proudly upload the first scenario.

If you want to get into scenario creation then I recommend that you download Marleyman's Tutorials. They give clear, detailed, well illustrated step by step instructions. They are well worth printing off and keeping with you when you are making any scenario.
