4CIG

Post by darkdj »

This is a wee bit Cheeky:

Would anyone be interested in repainting the 4CIG into the old BR Green Heritage Livery? Then i'd have some authentic stock to run at Lymington!

Lovely model, by the way, absolutely in love with the NSE Livery!

I'll add my vote to a Green CIG. Mind you a green 142 would have been a bit of a novelty!

Would that be BR Green as first painted ( were they? would have thought they'd had a chance to go straight to blue of some shade ), or 21st Century BR Green?
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

First ever livery was Manchester PTE applied to 142001 with other members following, the early western ones in a GWR resembling Chocolate/Cream. The rest were in provincial I believe.

CIGs, not bouncy busses :) and don't bring up Skippers again, they were traumatising on badly maintained branchlines. Appropriately and ironically named...

Ooh, this has been turned into a new thread! :D

I must be extremely strange, but that BR Green Pacer looks... quite good, actually!
