German Railroads Sound Problems

I recently purchased the following German Railroad packages from Steam:

City Trains Rhine-Ruhr
Classic Electric Locos Class E18
Control Cars in Local Traffic
Modern Fast Trains Class 120

The sound problems I am experiencing relate to the Class 143, Class 118 and Class 151 locos. The first problem is that when driving one of these locos in any of the supplied scenarios the sound of the loco + track noise will suddenly increase quite significantly both in cab and externally. It is so loud that I have to move the external camera quite a long way from the train.

The second strange sound problem is that when I exit one of these scenarios the loco + track noise continues. This sound will often continue even when I load a different scenario. The only way to stop it is to exit Railworks completely and start again.

Has anyone else experienced the same problems?

I experienced the sounds continuing after the scenario ended with one of the GR packs once, but never again after that. Quitting the game and restarting it fixed that, and I have especially not had any issues since the sounds on all their packs were updated recently.

Regarding the sound being too loud, this is actually a good thing. Most items in RW are way too quiet and it's refreshing to have some that finally reflect that real railways are loud. If it's too loud just ease back on the volume of your computer speakers.

On an aside, the nearest railway line to home for me in the real world is about 7km away at the closest point. On a still night I can clearly hear the engines of a heavy freight train going up into the hills, despite their being at least three hills between here and there. In RW you can move just a hundred metres away from the track and a train will be outdone by birds chirping or a stream running!

In trying out a new Route I purchased based on Alten to Wildau and driving the Control Car.

When passing over a bridge I gues the track sound is very loud and stays on even when I come to a halt in the station if it is immediately after the bridge.

I think it is fair to say that sound is not the strongest factor in German RW products in my experience.

Yes, that's true.

We all experienced this with the German Railroads sounds.. Does anyone know why this happen? How is it possible that a sound bin as a child from a engine can stay at one place, even when a tile is reloaded again? It also happen when you pass another engine. Can it be possible that to many channels will be used in an short time? To many instances? I thinks the sound files are copied for each engine, so the error comes back with GR engines.

Also very poor no sounds are heard when driving over switches and junctions..
