Well RW2 works like a dream now! Before the route loading screen took around 4 minutes to load, I thought that was normal due to the size of some routes but in fact was my old PC not taking the job, now it loads in exactly 55 seconds!
Started with all the sliders up and high detail shadows on on the Padd - Oxford route and loaded the Oxford to Reading in the snow scenario. 60FPS at Oxford then driving off to Radley it got to an high 90FPS in the counrtyside!
Paddington reached a sensible 30-35FPS and is the lowest I have seen, so top marks all round.
Then I loaded up the Doncaster Works, which melted on my old PC and was very slow, but reached 30-60FPS on this
Finally I can play RW2 properly now! Trouble is I've bought so much through the sales in the past ready for this, I don't know what to go on now
