RailWorks2

Post by johnny91 »

Hey!

I have a question:
I've bought the RW2 on Steam, and the add-ons from RW should work on RW2?
Like SAD's route Altenburg-Wittau?
Because I've tried to install this route, also successfully, but when I opened, it gave me back a sign: Something went wrong in your RailWorks.

Please answer :)

It *should* work. Make sure you've also installed any other asset packs it depends on, and then clear the blueprint cache.
The key to knowledge is not to rely on others to teach you it.

Check you have the rolling stock installed for any scenario you're running. RWTools is very useful to check that.

You can clear the blueprint cache from the Tools & Docs tab of the RW2 launcher app.

What you would be talking about with synchronisation is the Steam Cloud. This stores your scenario completion data (ticks/crosses) for all scenarios, scores for career scenarios and Steam Achievements for career scenarios. The advantage is that it then synchronises that data to any computer you are playing on, but I do remember a couple of anecdotes from people who swore that turning it off fixed all kinds of issues (none of which made sense).
