That's easy. They just go whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine, whine.metrobus wrote:Besides how would one get sounds for it
Why do people "demand" things so much nowadays. "I would like" is a much nicer way to go about thing, and a few pleases wouldn't go amiss either, sheesh. Facebook is full of people demanding things all the time, and its so annoying.BenBlairL wrote:I demand PRR stock if the new American route is the Horseshoe.

The Challenger or A1 didn't become "de facto default content" even though they came bundled with new copies of RW for a while, so why should Horseshoe Curve be?????bigvern wrote:which will effectively become de-facto default content
From the RSC FAQ so at least one of the routes, presumably Horseshoe Curve, will be included in RW3. If it is only the one then yes probably cheaper to buy it as DLC unless there are further price reductions on RW3 in the run up to launch. And I'm sorry to disagree with those who feel otherwise, but RW3 does become the new "core" product, it's not a special edition like the Tornado version, so any route included becomes fair game for builders to utilise the items from. Also, we will have an amazing new route, fully optimized to show off all
the new technology, this will be available bundled with every new purchase of the Train Simulator 2012 Steam Edition.
A lot of rubbish needs dispelling really, it's amazing how these rumours start and drag everyone in resulting in most complaining on release that RSC broke promises they didn't even make!crumplezone wrote:I'm sorry, but, where are people pulling the fact there is going to be both a new US AND UK route available at launch and with RW3? The FAQ for RW3s mentioned there will be new locomotive and routes available around the time of launch but that doesn't mean with release and one scrolls down further it mentions one new US route and one new UK locomotive, no mention of both US and UK routes, just the US one, which people had already guessed was the horseshoe curve.
No it isn't, the box art shows the Hitachi Super Express, however, nothing seems to have been confirmed as yet but it would strike me as silly to use such a train on a box if it wasn't included. Also, it isn't strictly a locomotive. The new UK locomotive is the HS2 train.............
It isn't the HS2 one (see above) and there is no mention of a new UK route to be released with RW3.Because the train is the HS2 one, the new UK route coming with RW3 is HS2........
There is the information about the route, how its available at launch.RailSimulator.com announced that they are recreating the famous Pennsylvanian Horseshoe Curve for their upcoming PC simulation game, RailWorks 3: Train Simulator 2012.
Sequel to the award-winning RailWorks 2 Train Simulator, Train Simulator 2012 looks set to push the boundaries of simulation even further, and being able to drive along this famous railroad under the shadow of the Allegheny Mountains is sure to appeal to a great many users. The Horseshoe Curve will be included with all copies of Train Simulator 2012 purchased via Steam and in the deluxe boxed addition. It will also be sold separately on Steam for customers who take advantage of the FREE upgrade to Train Simulator 2012. The Horseshoe Curve add-on is launched on promotion at just $14.99, £9.99, €11.49 (RRP: $29.99, £19.99, €22.99)
Paul Jackson, CEO of Railsimulator.com, said “The Horseshoe Curve is iconic not only to US rail fans, but to rail fans around the world – including myself. It has quite rightly been described as an engineering marvel. It also provides the first example of a purpose-built TS2012 route including all the advanced features it has to offer, and we want ALL our fans to experience TS2012 in all its finery which is why we have dropped the price by so much”
The Horseshoe Curve is situated near the town of Altoona in Pennsylvania, on a line originally constructed by the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR), and has echoed to the thunder of heavy freight trains ever since its completion in 1854. It offers the spectacle for railroad engineers – and lucky passengers – of being able to watch the rear of their train making its way along one side of the curve as the locomotives lead the train up the other side, the middle of the train running around the tight 637-foot radius curve at the top of the lake.
The Horseshoe Curve for Train Simulator 2012 is the first add-on to fully utilise all the new features in RW3: Train Simulator 2012. It accurately recreates not only the famous curve, but also many more miles of the line as it continues along to Cresson and Johnstown. Complete with appropriate PRR locomotives and rolling stock, the Horseshoe Curve also includes scenarios for players to work through in which unexpected events unfold and allow the player to rise through the ranks of their fellow engineers.
The Horseshoe Curve will be available for Train Simulator 2012 September 23.
