Multiplayer will end up like the racing community I'm sure.
Oh I can see it now, drag racing with A4 pacifics, sponsorship plastered all over the tender and bodywork, go faster stripes from nose to back and "pimp my ride" style chrome plating with The General's car horn from dukes of hazzard instead of a whistle.
Good way to show you know nothing about the online racing communities. The online racing communities are generally marked by very professional driving standards, excruciating attention to using correct liveries and race conditions, self-penalising driving infractions and very mature interactions between community members. The higher-grade sims even have real professional race drivers taking part, which in itself weeds out any issues. Getting a good reputation in a public setting or a reference from a moderator in another community is usually compulsory for getting entry into an online racing community.

The public servers run by the game companies have nothing to do with this scene however. Even there anybody who goes around deliberately causing crashes has their reputation (and racing stats) trashed so they can't possibly get a game.

For what it's worth, there is already one payware scenario creator who has published a scenario pack with a 'train race' however. And he's been taken seriously by Just Trains and Trainsim.com who now carry his work. :o

I was worried at first when I saw the new name but I am VERY impressed to see this is actually a free upgrade. Good work RSC, I'm off to snoop around at the details :D

What is FB?
FB would be Facebook. A common abbreviation much like RSC is.

As Paul has posted http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 4&t=117100 I think this thread has served its purpose.
