Just a quick question about scenarios

Hello to whoever can answer this for me. :)
Basically im creating a scenario for TPR and if i can make it and works well ill ask jim if it can be included in the release "when the time comes"
but what i want to know is, is there a way that i can test the scenario in a speeded up way so that i dont need to drive the train at the normal rate of speed
so that i can get to the end in more than half the time or is it just the case of adding AI and then driving normally each time.
Hope this makes sense to the reader(s) and i hope someone knows anything that can help :)

Cheers, Tom 8)

In the scenario editor, there are the 'run through scenario' controls in the bottom right of the screen - like those of a video/audio player - which allow you to look at how your scenario will run and can be sped up.

However, I do not find them to be a satisfactory substitute for playing through to see if it turned out as I envisaged. I'm also not sure if the in-editor player actually functions in the same way as the scenario itself, such are the peculiarities of Railworks.

There is a Sync Key which enables it I think, I am not sure off hand what it is but am sure someone will reply.

As for the run through that Alex mentions, I agree, its no good for what you want.

Ahh right i see if it doesnt run like i want it to look in a sped up test ill just drive it :)
Anyway the yorkshire countryside is rather lovely at this time of the year

The scenario is called the Western Looper, a railtour from Leeds to York via Harrogate in a class 52 Western :D
i hope that the scenario goes well as i have some good ideas for it :)
and id love you all to play on it in the future

Cheers for all the replys anyway, Tom 8)
