Hm, what's different about the bogies? I wouldn't hold your breath for a DRB one.USRailFan wrote: A 321, isn't this strictly a 317 with different fronts and bogies? Maybe something for Dave Brindley (and I guess a 321 could 'stand in' for a 319, 320, 322 as well)?

Re: Crouch Valley
According to TheRailwayCentre.com, Class 317 (and 318) have BREL BP20/BT13 bogies, while Class 319/320/321/322 have BREL P7-4/BREL T3-7 bogies. They all seem to have the same type of traction motors (Brush TM2141) though. Then of course the fronts are different, with 317/318s having front gangways, and 319/320/321/322s having slightly angled flat non-gangwayed fronts.
Re: Crouch Valley
Not that I spent much time looking at EMU bogies when they were my local trains, but I don't remember any significant visual differences. Willing to stand corrected as usual though.

First of all the route does not need GARL assets. If you run it through RW tools it will say GARL assets missing. However this will not effect you and you can download it freely. The garl assets turned to milk bottles so when removing them I was bound to miss a few.
I'm a bit confused by this. RW tools tells be I'm missing E andG scenery items rather than GARL (which I have installed). Also, while I have Cresston 3, RW Tools tells me I'm missing some Cresston route objects ..... buildings\cisboard\hangingdestblank.bin ......cisboardhangingdestbrentwooddown.bin ...brentwoodup.bin. I'm missing also jamster47\Station Signs for hatfield peveral and lu east cis and west cis. I guess these later sign are superfluous at this point as those sections to which they apply are not yet released?
Great route Jim. I grew up in Gidea Park and my wife comes from Hutton Mount; and, I commuted from GP to Liverpool Street until 1973. I'm very much looking forward to the remaining leg to London.

Re: Crouch Valley
Thankyou for uploading this, it is a wonderfully built route.
I do not know the area but it captures what I imagined it to be like!!

Re: Crouch Valley
Hi, the missing assets shown in RW tools, won't cause you any problems in this version. They are more then likely ones I just missed when removing things.
The problem is caused, say by using the embankment foliage. I install GARL and this also has embankment foliage under the same name, and now takes priority over the previous version of embankment, so I keep installing it as normal. However when i decided to remove the garl assets to ensure more rpople could download suddenly large amounts of items vanished that I didn't expect to vanish. Hence I got fed up with it and deleted everything west of Brentwood and East of Shenfield and thought I would release a small section for people to enjoy now.
Thank you for downloading it and I am glad you are enjoying it.
I wonder has anyone else made any scenarios or having problems with doing so? I ask as I know its only been out for a week but there seemed more buzz on the previous version with scenarios etc? Just wondering if I set everything up correctly or whether its just people are busy with other stuff?

Re: Crouch Valley
Don't know if anyone can help, but is anyone having problem with TPWS activating at the TPWS grid before Billericay station in the Up direction of travel?
At first I thought I had activated the TPWS OSS as I was doing around 40mph (ahead of 30 mph PSR) and a single yellow). But I had another go and passed over the TPWS grid at 17 mph and still got a TPWS Intervention and brought to a stand.
Anyone else have a similar problem?

Re: Crouch Valley
It was the supplied scenario, the Southminster-Shenfield one.
Re: Crouch Valley
With IOW nabbed in the sale I thought it about time I downloaded Crouch Valley. Many thanks to the author and all who contributed as this is a blisteringly good route - the attention to detail is truly stunning. Much appreciated
