Clearing Cache
I find that clearing the blueprints cache each and every time I start RW's speeds up the loading of routes immeasurably, can it be implemented by the dev's (RSC) to have it clear automatically when running RW's? I see numerous posts asking why this or that doesn't work and invariably the answer is clear the cache.

Re: Clearing Cache
I clear it every time as a matter of routine, not sure why but someone once said it can help to stop sbhh.
As for loading times, mine seem to be longer than ever, I'd say easily at least 3 minutes for any scenario any route.

Re: Clearing Cache
3 minutes is very good though. Never loaded anything in RW in 3 mins
Re: Clearing Cache
Use the "-DontUseBlueprintCache" startup option
My posts are my opinion, and should be read as such.

Re: Clearing Cache
Sometimes when I inadvertently forget to clear the cache I can sit there watching the cylons eyeball gliding across the screen for several minutes when I clear the cache it takes seconds to load.
@ kariban: where is this option located?

I'm not Kariban, but here we go anyway! In the Steam client's library page, RMB click on RailWorks 2 and select Properties from the contextual menu. Then in the General tab, open the Set Launch Options box and type it in.smarty2 wrote:@ kariban: where is this option located?
