I don't believe there is, this is the only thread. As it is released, I dont think there is anything to track progress of anyway.

Did anyone ever get to the bottom of the phantom buzzing of old Blackpool town?

We probably need some new trams to raise interest in creating further scenarios. I'm not sure if Mike ever got his twin-cars up and running to a release state as I never saw them appear in the file library.

If memory serves me correctly the "buzzing" was an issue with one of the trams on some systems (not all), not sure if a fix was ever put out.

HI! your mod looks awesome! But i cant get it to run... I have railworks 3, and i have installed your tramway, and installed the blackpool balloon trams, but whenever i try to run the game, it loads but shows up with "broken consists". I have opened the editor and ticked the boxes for assets etc... but even though sometimes there is no more error when i click save, there is no tram on the map...

Can you help?

thanks

Not sure what to suggest. Have you cleared the blueprint cache after installing the route and trams?

Sometimes when I get 'broken consist' message I go in to editor, and select them and just move them a tiny amount, then save. Might be worth a try

I think there is a problem with the route because there lots of things missing, and there isnt a tram track either...

Do you have the payware requirements for the route, and have downloaded and installed the other required add ons?

From the download page of the route:
PAYWARE:

Isle Of Wight Route - Available from the official Railworks Steam Store.
Phorum Peninsula (aka Project Platform) - Available from the official Railworks Steam Store.
UK Buildings Model Pack (Vol. 1) - This is a complimentary (free) item from RSC but obtained via their Steam Store.
The Railworks Steam Store can be accessed from the Railworks Opening Screen or from the RSC website http://www.railsimulator.com/

FREEWARE:

Blackpool Balloon Trams - From UK Trainsim library, File ID: 22759.
Ryo Tram Track - From UK Trainsim library, File ID 21191.

All other items required are bundled with the route.

UPDATE: A patch has been added to the file library which adds a building missed from the original installer: File ID: 27100

I see your point Jimmy, but it's what sells to the wider audience that is a consideration here. The hardcore enthusiasts might want long accurately detailed routes and that includes myself, at least picking and choosing which ones to have a pop at. However a well conceived route with plenty of industry or scope for activities could be a hit for those simply wanting a bit of fun.

In music terms it's the difference between a 10 minute Pendragon epic with lots of guitar solos and furrowed brows, vs the 3 minute fluffy Abba track. Both have their followers!
